  • Thanks so much for the reply David!!! I'll certainly keep that in mind for the next one. I had a narration but cut it thinking it was too inconsistent with the framework. ha ha stooopid. Anyway I hope it does better online as a one off vid, we shall see.

BTWhey, I'm a big fan of yours, I loved the last two car jumpers soooo good ha ha. and gawd, #ourRoboRemake was fantastic! I was honored to get to play the Kate-hugging rapist in FF's scene. Thanks for contributing to my happiness.

  • This was a cool framework, but yeah I don't think there was enough story - and it started pretty slow. I think there were some real charismatic performances and I enjoyed watching it because I dug the gimmick of it, but I had a lot of trouble grasping onto who to root for or what was happening and that made me nervous that the audience would be too confused by it.

Because it doesn't follow the "it should feel like a mini TV show" structure. That's always pretty important for me. Even some sort of voice over helping the audience get started with the show, would be beneficial. Think about "How would this play on television? What conventions would a reality show about this framework use?" They certainly wouldn't abandon context in the way you did.

Also, yeah, where the hell was Gelroth? Why wasn't there a GELROTH?

It was pretty unique and cool though! Keep submitting!

  • Some notes to myself:
1)The viewer doesn't really know what they are watching, the plot doesn't really start till halfway through.
2)I was creative with the median (iphone screen caps) but it bit me in the butt making things a little confusing.
    3)There was not enough Gelroth.

  • Would love to get some input on my rejected pilot. It's obviously over time but I lengthened the credits and opening splash screen for the youtubes.
