    Thanks for the comments, friends!

Glad everyone likes the animation style. I know that Garrett's hard to love, but he's had a TOUGH YEAR.

You're right, I hate Garrett, but that's because I AM Garrett.

Can we quote "your pilot made me feel icky?" Garrett rented a Dane Cook DVD once and never returned it, he just waited for Blockbuster to go out of business.

I look forward to hearing what the panel has to say. Hope the show went well.

  • I'm a fellow reject but here's my thoughts:

    1) I love the animation and theme song. Very high quality!
    2) You uploaded this video July 19. This makes it seem like you didn't originally intend this to be a Channel 101 pilot for August which might be a reason for rejection.
    3) School shootings like breast cancer and the holocaust are inherently unfunny. That is not to say you canít make jokes about them. For example your video reminds me a lot of a bit from Dane Cook:
But Dane Cook is a professional comedian and you can hear the audience laugh every 30 seconds.
Meanwhile your pilot made me feel icky and I didnít laugh once. Itís told from the perspective of Garrett who is a smug arrogant douchebag. Lead characters donít have to be nice but they have to be likable so that the audience wants to see more episodes with them. I could be wrong but I get the feeling you hate Garrett just like I do and If the creator doesnít love the character the audience wonít either.
    4) My suggestion is to make another animation in a similar style about a character that you would want to be friends with and who makes you laugh.

Just my two cents. Keep making videos!

    Hey everyone!

A rejection board is still an audience:

    Love to hear your thoughts.
