  • Wow, thank you so much for the kind words and notes, I really appreciate your feedback!

I'm also very glad to hear there were parts people liked!

I completely understand what you've said about the structure and stakes. I can't believe we didn't
think of having the class earlier when we were writing the script, would've definitely worked a lot

Next time we submit, I'll be sure to go over our story circle a couple more times :)

Hi Caleb, what an awesome first submission. You're already in a really great place. Totally agree with Matt about restructuring the episode so we understand the stakes. This show felt like we didn't have a clear person to focus on since we don't really check back in with Felix at the end. Maybe we see only a tiny bit of his vlog in the begining, see the class, then see the rest of Felix's blog. I hope to see lots more of your submissions!!!

This made the first cut of shows, if that's any consolation. And there were elements that members of the panel really liked.
For me, I could have used a little more structure. I get that this is a parody, but it seemed like it should have been set up as more of a competition show. For instance, I'd open with the vlogger getting cut so we know the stakes. Then our protagonist has to make his vlog to try and stick around and we find out if he makes the cut at the end. That would give us something to hook into and know what the show is going forward.
Just my thoughts, but really enjoyed this, thank you for submitting!

  • Hi panel, thanks so much for staying up late and watching our shows!

Would love to hear any feedback you had on our show "Always be Vlogging". I have to admit that this being our first submission, I didn't really expect us to get in, but you gotta start somewhere I guess.
