I was at the panel and we liked this one a lot, but ultimately just didn't make our top 5.
Really liked the sensibility of this one--very Bob's Burgers. I liked the family dynamic and the characters sounded would be fun to explore.
But that office scene really slowed everything down and the energy got lost.
One thing we kept seeing in the animations was that it was 2 people in a room talking to each other. Which is a shame, when using animation you can do and show anything! But most opted for a visually boring conversation. That's part of why we put Brinery up at the screening, it just had an energy that glued us all to the screen.
But again, we liked the sense of humor and with a stronger idea of where to take the show, I think you have a good instinct for 101.
