After the success of the Gatorade® sponsorship at the 5th Annual Channy Awards®, Channel 101 seems to have cemented themselves as a strong candidate for corporate support. Rumors circulated that many different companies were fighting it out to back the first screening of the new season, but only the oral-careful Colgate® took the slot.
Colgate Total, "the most advanced toothpaste for your superior health," offers complete 12 hour protection and happens to be the #1 toothpaste recommended by dentists. A nice fit for Channel 101, which happens to be "the most advanced competitive screening in Hollywood on the last Sunday of most months." With Colgate® behind them, Channel 101 may become #1 preferred by dentists, too.
Creatives wishing to submit a 15 second colgate commercial to the January screening can send it separately or put it on the same tape as a pilot submission. Submission guidelines are available here.
